Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Seoul Academy Rules

 

To maintain the high-quality standards of the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy, we have set strict rules that we expect all students to strictly abide by. All rules are placed to protect the best interests and safety of our students. 

 

1. Gi Maintenance: Gis must be washed after every class (students will not be allowed to participate in an unlaundered Gi). 

 

2. Effective Showering: Students must shower after every class (at our facility or at home).

 

3. General Hygiene: All students must wash hands before each class, hair must be tied back and nails clipped.

 

4. Language/Behavior: No foul language or inappropriate comments/gestures permitted in the academy.

 

5. Attire: Do not walk around bare-chested and all Gis must be white.  

 

6. Sparring: Never spar without instructor supervision. When you catch someone, squeeze slowly, when you get caught, tap quickly.
